Cycling

The Sustrans Cycle Route 7 passes through the village making Killin an ideal stopping off point. It also provides those based in Killin with the opportunity to use it to explore the countryside around and visit other villages such as Lochearnhead, Balquhidder and Kenmore.

There are quiet glens, country roads and forest tracks to explore from Killin and if you do not bring your own bicycle they can be hired in the village from Killin Outdoor Shop.

Many of the forests nearby have designated cycle routes, some of them quite challenging. If you want to combine a cycle ride and some other activity there are several destinations that offer cycle hire and this can easily be arranged in advance.
